As seen on IGN we have three new books debuting next week on Comixology / Amazon platforms.
First up MONEY - This is a book I’ve wanted to do since about 2015 / 2016 that has changed and morphed a lot in the intervening years. It’s essentially a game of thrones meets Succession style drama about the five families who rule the world Illuminati style vying / competing with each other for control. It’s a big twisty mystery set against the upper echelons of wealth and power that changes perspective each issue in a Roshomon like structure. Art is by Luca Casalanguida who is one of my absolute favorite collaborators. Luca and I are already onto our next project which we will be figuring out who we want to partner with on it.
SIMULATION THEORY - Another idea that I’ve had for a while. Almost 10 years at this point. It’s a story that explores VR, Consciousness, Technology and the morality of everything surrounding it. Sort of Ready Player One meets The Long Goodbye. Amazing Ligne Claire style artwork by Darryl Knickrehm colored by Mark Dale.
LOST FALLS SEASON TWO - The mystery continues.
My focus with these books was creating amazing comics and stories in a manner that would be widely accessible. And that hasn’t changed. If you’re a kid with not much money but your parents have a prime account—you can read these. If you have a kindle unlimited subscription for reading those weird proper books and novels but find yourself curious about those weird things called comic books - you can dip your toes in the water. And most importantly these will all be available in print, later on, through DH at your LCS or Book store.
I’d like to thank the Comixology team past and present for throwing their weight behind these books - Chip, David, Bryce, Em, the folks at Superfan, and Tom now that he’s steering the ship.
All three books debut July 18th.
OTHER STUFF WHILE I’M HERE
You’ve Been Cancelled continues to be serialised through Mad Cave Studios. Issue two is out July 19th.
Indigo Children is ramping to the conclusion of our first series with issues 5 and 6 coming late July and in August.
Thanks for reading. More soon.
